Home- Delivered Meal Program

The KCS Home-Delivered Meals Program, launched in 1998 with support from Citymeals on Wheels, has since provided carefully prepared, nutritious Korean meals directly to the homes of seniors aged 60 and older who are homebound and unable to cook for themselves. This vital service is made possible through the generous support of the Southpole Foundation, The Joh Foundation, the Judith Ehm Foundation, and the Wallerstein Foundation—funders whose commitment enabled the very first Korean meal delivery service in New Jersey. Their contributions extend beyond providing meals; they serve as a cornerstone for promoting dignity, health, and the ability for seniors to age in place.
Purpose of Program
The purpose of the program is to provide culturally appropriate and nutritious meals to older adults in the community who are homebound and unable to prepare or shop for meals. We aim to enhance their well-being, support their nutritional needs, and well-being, support their nutritional needs, and enable them to live independently in the comfort of their homes and age in place.
