a. Eligibility Verification / Income Requirements
PAAD provides financial assistance for prescription medication costs. Eligibility is based on the following criteria:

• Individuals aged 65 or older, OR individuals receiving disability benefits (ages 18 through 64)

• Individuals who have resided in Bergen County for at least 30 days

• Individuals who meet the following income guidelines:

  • Individual Income: $4,579/month or less (as of 2026)

  • Married Couple Income: $5,199/month or less (as of 2026)

• Proof of Residency (e.g., Utility Bill, Lease Agreement)

• Proof of Income (e.g., Tax Return, Social Security Benefit Statement)

• Social Security Number (SSN)
